Classic Beef Stroganoff

Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms; cook for 2-3 minutes while stirring.
- Cut steak into 1½ inch chunks, season with salt and pepper, and coat with flour.
- Add steak and remaining flour to the skillet; brown the meat for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil, scraping the brown bits from the pan.
- Lower heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for 5-10 minutes until meat is cooked and sauce thickens.
- Remove lid, stir in salt, sour cream, mustard, and pepper; simmer for another minute.
- Serve warm over cooked egg noodles and garnish with parsley if desired.
