Instructions
- Mix the flour and salt for the crust in a large bowl.
- Process the flour mixture with cold butter until crumbly.
- Add maple syrup and cold water, processing until the dough forms a ball.
- Divide the dough into two balls, flatten them, wrap in wax paper, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Roll out the dough and place it in 9-inch pie pans.
- Whisk together the filling ingredients until well combined.
- Pour the filling into each crust.
- Bake for 60 to 70 minutes until the filling is set, checking for jiggliness.
- Cool before cutting and serve warm or refrigerate.
