Ingredients

The popcorn

  • 16 cups popped popcorn

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2-3 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 clove minced garlic (optional)
  • ½ cup grated parmesan
  • to taste additional salt
  • to taste fresh coarsely ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary in a small bowl.
  2. Pop the popcorn and place it in a very large bowl.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the hot popcorn with the grated parmesan and toss to combine.
  4. Drizzle the rosemary olive oil over the popcorn.
  5. Season generously with fresh coarsely ground black pepper and add additional salt if desired.
  6. Let the popcorn sit for 5-10 minutes before serving to enhance the flavor.
