Instructions
- Brown the butter by heating it until it turns a golden yellow color and has brown specs.
- Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and matcha powder in a bowl and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the browned butter with white sugar and brown sugar until combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture and whisk until light and creamy.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a green dough forms.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Scoop cookie dough onto baking sheets, spacing them 2-3 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the bottoms are light brown.
- Cool on the baking sheets for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
