Instructions
- Sift together the flour, matcha powder, and salt.
- Cream the butter and powdered sugar until fluffy using an electric mixer.
- Gradually add the sifted ingredients until a dough forms, then mix in the sliced almonds.
- Shape the dough into a log, wrap it in plastic wrap, and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (162°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Slice the dough into ¼ inch thick pieces and arrange them on the baking sheets.
- Bake for 14–16 minutes, then cool on a wire rack before storing.
