Instructions
- Sift the flour and matcha together, then add almond meal and set aside.
- Mix the butter and caster sugar until creamy, then add the egg and beat well.
- Change to a blade attachment, add the sifted flour and almond meal, and mix without overmixing.
- Add black sesame seeds and combine.
- Divide the dough into two, shape into balls, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cut the chilled dough into 5mm thick slices and place on a lined baking tray.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then cool on a wire rack.
