Banana Cake with Cream Cheese or Brown Butter Frosting

Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a small bowl, mix the mashed banana with lemon juice and set aside.
- In another bowl, combine flour and baking soda.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add vanilla.
- Gradually add half of the flour mixture followed by half of the buttermilk, mixing until just incorporated.
- Repeat with the remaining flour mixture and buttermilk, then fold in the bananas.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely and frost with cream cheese frosting or brown butter frosting.
