Detroit Style Pizza

aged provolone, cubed

pizza sauce

Instructions
- Pour olive oil into a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Mix flour, salt, and yeast in a bowl, then add warm water and olive oil.
- Knead the dough until cohesive and place it in the greased pan.
- Dimple the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 15 minutes, covered.
- Press the dough closer to the edges of the pan and let it rise for another 15 minutes.
- Stretch the dough to the edges and cover for a final rise of 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 500°F.
- Spread pizza sauce on the dough, then top with provolone and mozzarella.
- Add pepperoni cups on top, overlapping them.
- Bake for 7 minutes, rotate the pan, and bake for an additional 7 minutes.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
