Candy Cane Snowball Cookies

Instructions
- 1. Beat the butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and peppermint extracts until light and fluffy.
- 2. Mix in the flour, salt, and nuts until combined, then refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
- 3. Preheat the oven to 325°F and prepare a baking sheet.
- 4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the baking sheet.
- 5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until just set but not brown, then cool completely.
- 6. Melt the white chocolate and dip the tops of the cookies in it.
- 7. Sprinkle with crushed peppermint while the chocolate is still wet.
