Ingredients

The yogurt base

  • 2 cups raw cashews
  • 1½ to 2 cups water

The probiotics

  • 3 capsules probiotics

Instructions

  1. Blend cashews and water in a high-speed blender until creamy and slightly warm.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a non-reactive bowl.
  3. Open the probiotics capsules and sprinkle the contents over the cashew mixture.
  4. Stir the mixture gently with a rubber spatula or plastic spoon until fully incorporated.
  5. Cover the bowl with cheesecloth or a clean tea towel and secure it with a rubber band.
  6. Place the bowl in a warm area for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  7. Once fermented to your liking, refrigerate the yogurt for a couple of hours before using.
