Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F.
- Coat the brisket with the brisket rub.
- Spray a baking dish with cooking spray and pour the beef broth into the bottom.
- Place the brisket in the dish and pour 1 cup of barbecue sauce over it.
- Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 3 ½ hours or until the meat is tender.
- Remove the brisket from the dish and place it on a sheet pan coated with cooking spray.
- Brush ¼ cup of barbecue sauce over the top of the brisket and broil for 3-5 minutes until caramelized.
- Let the meat rest for 10 minutes, then slice against the grain and serve with the remaining barbecue sauce.
