The shells

  • 9 oz pre-shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare the sheet pans with parchment paper.
  2. Trace 6-inch circles on the parchment for uniform shell sizes.
  3. Measure ⅓ cup (1 ½ ounces) of shredded cheese for each circle and spread it evenly.
  4. Bake for 5 minutes, then swap the baking sheets and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the cheese has holes and edges are brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and blot with a paper towel, then shape the shells over wooden spoons or spatulas.
  6. Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
