Ingredients

The shells

  • 9 oz pre-shredded cheddar cheese

Equipment

  • 2 large sheet pans
  • 1 piece parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare two sheet pans with parchment paper.
  2. Trace circles on the parchment paper for uniform shell sizes.
  3. Measure ⅓ cup (1 ½ ounces) of shredded cheese for each circle and spread it evenly.
  4. Bake for 5 minutes, then swap the positions of the baking sheets.
  5. Continue baking for another 5-10 minutes until the cheese has holes and the edges are browned.
  6. Remove from the oven and blot with a paper towel before shaping the shells.
  7. Shape the shells over wooden spoons or a taco shaper and allow to cool.
