Ingredients

The Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 pound brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

The Seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

The Toppings

  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds
  • cup pecan halves or chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Miscellaneous

  • 1 spray cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with foil, coating it with cooking spray.
  2. Place the trimmed and halved brussels sprouts on the pan in a single layer.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the sprouts and season with salt and pepper, tossing to coat evenly.
  4. Bake for 20-30 minutes until the brussels sprouts are tender and caramelized.
  5. Add butter to the hot pan and stir the brussels sprouts until coated.
  6. Transfer to a serving platter and top with pecans and pomegranate seeds before serving.
