Ingredients

The crust

  • 1 cup salted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

The caramel layer

  • 2 cups caramels
  • 3 tablespoons cream

The topping

  • 3 cups mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F and prepare a 9x13 inch pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the butter, powdered sugar, flour, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the prepared pan and prick with a fork to prevent bubbling.
  4. Bake for 35-45 minutes until light golden, then let cool completely.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine caramels and cream, and melt in the microwave for 3-4 minutes, stirring each minute until smooth.
  6. Spread the melted caramel over the cooled crust and refrigerate until solid.
  7. Melt the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups in the microwave, stirring every 45 seconds until smooth.
  8. Spread the melted peanut butter cups over the solid caramel layer and refrigerate until set.
  9. Cut into bars and serve.
