Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and roast hazelnuts for 8-10 minutes until golden and fragrant.
- Transfer hazelnuts to a towel and rub off the skins.
- In a food processor, grind the hazelnuts for about 5 minutes until they form a smooth butter, scraping the sides as needed.
- Add cacao powder, honey, vanilla extract, hazelnut oil, and salt to the food processor and blend until well combined, about 1 minute.
- Store the spread in a one quart mason jar in the refrigerator.
- Bring to room temperature before serving.
