Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF and arrange the hazelnuts on a baking sheet.
- Toast the hazelnuts for 10 minutes until their skins begin to crack, then cool and rub them to remove the skins.
- Place the peeled hazelnuts in a food processor and blend into a creamy nut butter, scraping down the sides as needed for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Once smooth, add the coconut sugar, cocoa powder, and coconut oil, and process briefly.
- Add ¼ cup of water and blend, adding more water one tablespoon at a time until the desired texture is reached.
- Enjoy immediately or transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
