Ingredients

  • 2 cups Hazelnuts (raw, unsalted)
  • cup Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Allulose Blend
  • ¼ cup Dutch processed cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Sugar-free dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil (optional)
  • tsp Sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (177°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the hazelnuts in a single layer on the baking sheet and roast for 8-10 minutes until browned and fragrant.
  3. Place the roasted hazelnuts in a container with a lid and shake to remove loose skins, or rub them in a towel.
  4. Put the skinned hazelnuts in a high-power blender or food processor and blend until a smooth nut butter forms.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
  6. Add the powdered sweetener, cocoa powder, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and coconut oil to the nut butter and blend until smooth and glossy.
  7. Refrigerate the spread for a thicker consistency.
