Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (177°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the hazelnuts in a single layer on the baking sheet and roast for 8-10 minutes until browned and fragrant.
- Place the roasted hazelnuts in a container with a lid and shake to remove loose skins, or rub them in a towel.
- Put the skinned hazelnuts in a high-power blender or food processor and blend until a smooth nut butter forms.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
- Add the powdered sweetener, cocoa powder, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and coconut oil to the nut butter and blend until smooth and glossy.
- Refrigerate the spread for a thicker consistency.
