Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw hazelnuts
  • 3 tablespoons coconut sugar or any granulated sweetener
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and line a pan with hazelnuts in a single layer, toasting for 7-8 minutes.
  2. Allow hazelnuts to cool completely, then transfer to a dish towel and shake to remove the skins.
  3. Place the skinned hazelnuts in a blender or food processor and blend until a flour-like consistency is achieved.
  4. Add cocoa powder and sweetener, then blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  5. Transfer the spread to a jar or container for storage.
