Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- Juice and zest the navel orange and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and orange zest.
- In another bowl, whisk the non-dairy milk, olive oil, two tablespoons of orange juice, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack.
- Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
