Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole apple
  • to taste none nut or seed butter (peanut butter, almond butter, sunflower seed butter)

Optional Ingredients

  • to taste none raisins
  • to taste none lemon juice
  • as needed none toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Cut off the top of the apple and slice to create the top of the sandwich.
  2. Make another slice for the bottom of the sandwich.
  3. Use a small round cookie cutter to remove the core from each slice.
  4. Spread nut or seed butter on the bottom slice.
  5. Optionally, add raisins on top of the nut butter.
  6. Place the top slice of the apple on the sandwich.
  7. Secure the sandwich with toothpicks if desired.
  8. Spritz with lemon juice to prevent browning.
