Apple Brie Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter at room temperature
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 8 slices bread
  • 8 ounces brie cheese sliced
  • 1 apple cored and sliced thin

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread and mayonnaise and mustard on the other side.
  2. Place the bread butter side down and top with sliced apple and brie cheese.
  3. Cover with the remaining slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  4. For stovetop, preheat a skillet over medium heat and cook sandwiches until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3 to 5 minutes per side.
  5. For air fryer, preheat to 400°F and cook sandwiches for 8 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  6. For oven, preheat to 400°F, place sandwiches on a baking sheet, and bake for 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and bread is golden brown.
