Grilled Brie and Pear Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons light butter
  • 4 slices light wheat bread
  • 2 oz Brie cheese
  • ½ oz arugula
  • ½ large pear
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread with ½ tablespoon of butter.
  2. Place two slices of bread butter side down on a skillet.
  3. Spread Brie pieces over the bread.
  4. Top with arugula and pear slices.
  5. Drizzle ½ teaspoon of honey over the pear slices on each sandwich.
  6. Place the reserved slices of bread on top, butter side up.
  7. Cook in the skillet over medium heat for about 3 minutes until golden.
  8. Flip the sandwiches carefully and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden on both sides.
