Ingredients

Spices & Seasonings

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • ½ tablespoon ground cumin
  • ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon ground pepper
  • teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ½ cup chicken broth

Meat

  • 1 lb ground turkey

Vegetables & Canned Goods

  • ½ medium yellow onion, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 24-oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 15-oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 15-oz can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 15-oz can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large dutch oven over medium/high heat and sauté onion, celery, and garlic for 1 minute.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook for about 5 minutes until almost browned.
  3. Mix in all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
