Cabbage Roll Soup

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Add onion and garlic, cooking for a few minutes until softened.
- Stir in cabbage, carrots, beef broth, tomato sauce, rice, bay leaf, and brown sugar.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 25 minutes until rice is tender.
- Remove and discard bay leaf, then sprinkle with parsley before serving.
