Pumpkin Brownies

The pumpkin mixture

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Prepare the brownie batter according to the package instructions and stir in the chocolate chips.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then mix in the pumpkin, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla.
- Spread about ¾ of the brownie batter in the prepared pan.
- Layer the pumpkin-cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter and spread it evenly.
- Dollop the remaining brownie batter over the pumpkin layer and swirl the batters together with a knife.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool on a wire rack before cutting into 16 brownies.
