Ingredients

  • ¾ cup almond butter
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp fine sea salt
  • cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  2. 2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine almond butter and maple syrup, whisking until well combined.
  3. 3. Add pumpkin and vanilla, whisking again.
  4. 4. Stir in cocoa powder until fully incorporated.
  5. 5. Add ground flaxseed, baking soda, and salt, whisking until smooth.
  6. 6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. 7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Optionally, top with additional chocolate chips.
  8. 8. Bake for 30 minutes.
  9. 9. Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting.
