Ingredients

  • ¾ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¾ cup almond butter
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare an 8×8 baking dish with cooking spray and line with parchment paper.
  3. In a stand mixer, combine pumpkin puree, almond butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, salt, and egg. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few loose crumbs.
  6. Let the brownies sit for 5 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment paper and cooling on a rack.
