Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Prepare an 8×8 baking dish with cooking spray and line with parchment paper.
- In a stand mixer, combine pumpkin puree, almond butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, salt, and egg. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few loose crumbs.
- Let the brownies sit for 5 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment paper and cooling on a rack.
