Creamy Shrimp Linguine

The shrimp

Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink and opaque.
- Add garlic to the pan and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
- Remove the shrimp from the pan and cover to keep warm.
- Melt the remaining butter in the pan over medium heat.
- Add heavy cream and simmer until just thickened, without boiling.
- Whisk in parmesan cheese until melted, then stir in lemon juice.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Drain the pasta and combine it with the sauce in the pan.
- Add half the shrimp and toss everything together.
- Arrange the remaining shrimp on top, sprinkle with parsley, and garnish with parsley sprigs and lemon slices before serving.
