Baked Salmon and Asparagus with Herb Sauce

For Salmon & Asparagus

Atlantic salmon fillet (skin removed and sliced into 4-6 oz portions or 3-4 fillets)

asparagus (trimmed)

parmesan cheese (grated, optional)

Instructions
- Prepare the garlic and herb sauce by blending all the sauce ingredients until smooth and adjusting salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Arrange the salmon filets in the center of the baking pan and place asparagus around them. Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and season with salt and pepper.
- Brush each salmon filet with the herb sauce and garnish with lemon slices. Drizzle lemon juice over the asparagus.
- Bake for 10-14 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon.
- Remove from oven and optionally sprinkle grated parmesan over the salmon and asparagus.
- Broil for 1-3 minutes until the salmon and parmesan are flaky and golden.
- Let the salmon rest for 5 minutes before serving, garnished with extra herbs if desired.
