Lemon Pepper Salmon with Garlic Parmesan Asparagus

The asparagus

asparagus, tough ends trimmed

finely shredded parmesan
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Place the salmon in the center of the pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together 1 ½ Tbsp olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, 2 cloves of garlic, dijon mustard, and onion powder.
- Brush the mixture over the salmon and sprinkle with salt and pepper, adding lemon slices on top.
- Toss the asparagus with the remaining 1 Tbsp olive oil, 2 cloves of garlic, and season with salt, then arrange around the salmon.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then toss the asparagus and sprinkle with parmesan before returning to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
- Cut the salmon into portions and serve warm.
