Baked Lemon Pepper Salmon

Ingredients

The salmon

  • 10 oz. salmon filets
  • teaspoons lemon pepper
  • to taste salt
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • for garnish lemon zest

The roasted broccoli

  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
  2. Prepare the salmon by placing it skin-side down on paper towels to remove moisture.
  3. Spray a cast iron skillet with cooking spray and place the salmon filets skin-side down.
  4. Sprinkle lemon pepper seasoning generously on each filet and add salt to taste, placing a lemon wedge on top.
  5. Prepare the broccoli by cutting it into florets and placing it around the salmon in the skillet, drizzling with olive oil and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake in the oven for 12-14 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flaky.
