Baked Salmon Filets

Ingredients

The salmon and seasoning

  • 4 filets salmon
  • to taste salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper

The garnish and glaze

  • 2 lemons thinly sliced
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped
  • to taste fresh dill for garnish
  • to taste lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and coat a baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. Arrange lemon slices in the baking dish and pat the salmon dry, seasoning both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon filets on top of the lemon slices.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, and dill, then pour over the salmon.
  5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the salmon is opaque and reaches 145°F.
  6. Garnish with fresh dill and serve with lemon wedges.
