Ingredients

The salmon

  • 1 lb. salmon fillet

The sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • to taste slices lemon, for garnishing

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (207°C).
  2. 2. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, lemon juice, honey, butter, cayenne pepper, and salt until well combined.
  3. 3. Rinse the salmon under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. 4. Place the salmon on a large sheet of aluminum foil and drizzle the garlic-lemon butter mixture over it, coating well.
  5. 5. Top with parsley, then wrap the salmon tightly in the foil.
  6. 6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
  7. 7. Unwrap the foil, garnish with sliced lemon, and serve immediately.
