Instructions
- Marinate the brisket with liquid smoke, BBQ rub, salt, and pepper for 2 hours to overnight.
- Add sliced onions, garlic, broth, liquid smoke, and soy sauce to the Instant Pot.
- Place the brisket in the pot with the fat cap side up.
- Seal the pot and cook on high pressure for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Allow the steam to release naturally for 15 minutes before opening the pot.
- Remove the brisket and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Slice against the grain and drizzle with BBQ sauce if desired.
