Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Chop the chocolate into chunks.
- In a medium bowl, mix the dry ingredients together to break up lumps.
- Melt the butter in a microwave and then mix in the eggs, vanilla, maple extract, and stevia.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients using a spoon or spatula until blended.
- Transfer the dough onto the prepared sheet pan and shape it into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
- Cut the rectangle into 12 pieces and place them on the parchment.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until done, then cool on a rack.
- For the glaze, melt butter, cream, and chocolate in a microwave, stirring until smooth, then drizzle over cooled scones.
