Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and place a pizza stone in the oven if you have one.
- Slice the onions into thin rounds and prepare the Brussels sprouts by removing tough ends and breaking them into leaves.
- Drizzle the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook the onions with red pepper flakes and salt until soft, then add balsamic vinegar and cook until absorbed.
- Prepare the pizza dough as directed, rolling it out as thin as possible.
- Top the dough with red onions, mozzarella cheese, Brussels sprouts, and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake the pizza for 10 to 14 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Slice and serve with additional pepper and red pepper flakes if desired.
