Instructions
- Prepare the poppy seed dressing by mixing vegetable oil, red wine vinegar, sugar, dried mustard, poppy seeds, and salt in a bowl or jar.
- Allow the dressing to blend at room temperature while preparing the salad.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat, add pecans, and sauté until toasted and fragrant.
- Remove the pecans from heat and let them cool on paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine spinach, strawberries, and pecans.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss until evenly coated.
