Peanut Butter Frosting

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line two muffin pans with cupcake liners.
- Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together, then add the eggs one at a time, followed by the mashed bananas and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt, then gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Fold in the buttermilk and chocolate chips, then distribute the batter evenly into the cupcake liners.
- Bake for 17-19 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean, then allow to cool completely.
- For the chocolate frosting, sift together the confectioners’ sugar and cocoa powder, then beat with butter, heavy cream, and vanilla until creamy.
- For the peanut butter frosting, beat together the peanut butter and butter, then mix in the confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, and cream until smooth.
- Frost the cooled cupcakes with both frostings, optionally decorating with banana slices or chocolate chips.
