Instructions
- Prepare vegan biscuits using your preferred method.
- Cook the vegan sausage according to package instructions, then crumble it into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat and return the crumbled sausage to the pan.
- Sprinkle in the all-purpose flour and sauté until lightly browned, about 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in soy milk, adding ½ cup at a time until all 2 cups are incorporated.
- Add nutritional yeast, thyme, sage, garlic powder, salt, and optional cayenne pepper.
- Bring the gravy to a simmer, then reduce heat and continue whisking until thickened, about 5-8 minutes.
- Serve the warm biscuits sliced in half, drizzled with the gravy.
