Ingredients

  • ¾ cup Water
  • ¼ cup Tamari Soy Sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • cup Allulose Monk Fruit Sweetener (or your favorite keto sweetener)
  • 2 tablespoon Dry Sherry (or 1 ½ tablespoon rice wine vinegar)
  • 4 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Arrowroot powder (or ½ teaspoon xanthan gum)

Instructions

  1. Decide whether to use xanthan gum or arrowroot powder to thicken the sauce.
  2. Combine the first five ingredients in a small pot over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes, whisking well.
  4. If using arrowroot powder, add the slurry and simmer for an additional minute.
  5. If using xanthan gum, ensure it's mixed with the sweetener to avoid clumping.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  7. Strain the sauce to remove solids, unless using as a marinade.
  8. Cool the sauce before using.
