Bold Teriyaki Sauce

Slurry (to thicken sauce)

cornstarch or arrowroot starch

Instructions
- Combine the soy sauce, water, honey, vinegar, ginger, and garlic in a small saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
- Once the sauce is simmering, whisk the slurry again and pour it into the sauce, stirring continuously until thickened.
- Remove from heat and use as desired, or let cool before storing in the refrigerator.
