Instructions
- Brine the chicken in a mixture of pickle juice and buttermilk for 30 minutes.
- Combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and sweetener in a bowl.
- Dredge the chicken in the beaten egg, then in the flour mixture.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil and place the chicken inside.
- Air fry at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then flip the chicken and air fry for an additional 5-7 minutes until crisp.
- Toast the buns in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes at 400 degrees.
- Assemble the sandwich with the chicken, toppings, and sauce.
