Easy Avocado Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

The eggs

  • 6 pieces hard boiled eggs

The filling

  • 1 piece avocado
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • ½ piece fresh lime, juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Optional ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 slices cooked and crumbled bacon

Instructions

  1. Slice the boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the yolks with avocado, chopped onions, cilantro, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix the avocado and yolk mixture until smooth.
  4. Spoon or pipe the mixture back into the egg whites.
  5. Serve immediately or chill if preferred.
