Lemon Cream Cheese Icing

Instructions
- 1. Whisk the flour, sugar, salt, and lemon zest in a large bowl.
- 2. Heat the milk and butter until warm, then whisk in the yeast until dissolved.
- 3. Pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients, add the egg, and mix until a soft dough forms.
- 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 3–5 minutes until smooth.
- 5. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
- 6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread with softened butter, and sprinkle the filling mixture over it.
- 7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 10–12 rolls.
- 8. Place the rolls in a greased pan and let rise for 60–90 minutes.
- 9. Preheat the oven and bake the rolls until lightly browned.
- 10. While baking, prepare the icing by beating the cream cheese, butter, confectioners’ sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.
- 11. Spread the icing over warm rolls and serve.
