Ingredients

The fish

  • 4 7-oz Steelhead trout fillets

The sauce

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp Fresh chives
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • Lemon slices optional sliced thinly

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Pat the trout fillets dry and arrange them in a baking dish with space between them.
  3. Melt the butter and mix it with olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, chives, and sea salt.
  4. Brush the mixture over the trout on both sides and top with lemon slices if desired.
  5. Bake for 12-18 minutes until the fish flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 135-140°F (57-60°C).
