Ingredients

  • 14 oz extra firm tofu
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 each avocado
  • 1 each bell pepper (any color)
  • 2-3 each green onions
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro (optional)
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 4 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture for 30 minutes, then cut into cubes.
  2. Season the tofu with salt and coat with cornstarch.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet and fry the tofu until golden and crispy.
  4. Dice the bell pepper, slice the green onions, chop the cilantro, and slice the avocado.
  5. Combine the fried tofu and bell pepper in a bowl, then mix in sweet chili sauce.
  6. Assemble the bowls with rice, tofu mixture, avocado, green onions, cilantro, and sesame seeds.
