Ingredients

Lasagna Noodles

  • 3 cups Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 6 large Egg yolks
  • ¾ cup Lupin flour

Meat Sauce

  • lb Ground beef
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder (optional)

Cheese Filling

  • 8 oz Whole milk ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large Egg

Cheese Topping

  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the lasagna noodles by mixing lupin flour and egg yolks, then melting mozzarella and kneading it into a dough.
  2. Roll the dough into thin rectangles and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with salt and pepper, then stir in marinara sauce and seasonings, simmering until thickened.
  4. Mix the ricotta, parmesan, and egg to create the cheese filling.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Assemble the lasagna in a casserole dish by layering meat sauce, noodles, cheese filling, and mozzarella, repeating the layers.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then broil for 2-3 minutes to brown the cheese.
