Ingredients

The peaches

  • 8 cups peaches, peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

The crisp topping

  • ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup salted butter, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 ¾ cups old-fashioned oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter until clumpy.
  3. Add oats to the mixture and combine well.
  4. Butter an 8×8 baking pan and set aside.
  5. In another bowl, mix peaches, granulated sugar, flour, cornstarch, and salt.
  6. Transfer the peach mixture to the prepared baking pan.
  7. Sprinkle the topping mixture evenly over the peaches without packing it down.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let sit for 10-15 minutes before serving.
