Orange-Infused Whiskey Ginger

Instructions
- Run the orange peel around the rim of your serving glass and add it to a small pitcher or cocktail shaker.
- Muddle the orange peel with ginger juice, maple syrup, lemon juice, and bitters for about 1 minute.
- Add bourbon and ice, then stir or shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
- Pour the mixture over 3-4 ice cubes in the serving glass.
- Top with a dash of sparkling water or champagne if desired.
- Garnish with fresh mint and cranberries if desired.
